João Homem is a Professional Colourist based in Vancouver, British Columbia. With over a decade of experience in film specializing in commercials, narratives and music videos, João has a vast experience in the picture finishing realm, having worked with brands such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Nissan, YSL, Amazon, Northface, RBC, Uber Eats, Junos and many more.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, João combines the vibrancy of his Brazilian roots with a refined, tasteful approach developed through years of colouring, creative direction, photography, and film development. His unique ability to elevate visuals through colour has made him a trusted partner for filmmakers and agencies seeking more than just a polish, João brings soul to the image and grading suite
